Privacy

The short version: your feed file never leaves your browser, there are no accounts, no cookies and no ads, and we only count visits and clicks anonymously.

Your feed file

When you drop in an OPML file or type subreddit names, this page reads them in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. The page’s security settings only let it talk to this site and Cloudflare’s visit counter, so it couldn’t send your file elsewhere even by mistake.

Private feed links, like the ones for your Reddit saved posts or inbox, contain a secret token. We hide it on the page and leave it out of every download.

The Lemmy lookup (only if you turn it on)

If you choose to look for Lemmy communities, the page sends each subreddit name and a topic word to our lookup. The lookup asks lemmy.world and mastodon.social about that topic and keeps the answer for 12 hours so the next person gets it faster. It doesn’t log anything, and it never receives your file or your feed links.

Analytics

We count how the tool is used so we can make it better. Three things are collected, all without cookies:

  • Page visits, through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites.
  • Anonymous action counts, like “a feed list was checked” or “the CSV was downloaded”, with rough ranges such as “6 to 20 feeds” and the country Cloudflare reports. No IP address, no ID, and nothing from your file is stored.
  • Three public running totals shown on the home page: feed lists checked, Reddit feeds found in them, and new feeds added. They’re plain numbers added together, nothing else.

Stored on your device

Your browser remembers three small settings so you don’t have to set them again: light or dark mode, whether you turned on the Lemmy lookup, and your Mastodon server. Clearing your site data removes them.

This site never contacts Reddit

No part of this site calls Reddit, from your browser or from our servers. Links to subreddits are ordinary links you can choose to click.
